Last weekend saw me heading to Bar Broadway, great venue, to see what turned out to be a great show. The quality of Australian Music is great, and for only $8 I got to experience three talented bands over three odd hours. Why the fuck would I bother paying over $80 for a international band, when around the state I could see ten great shows with that money, think about it. Though some would say that the music is just not out there or it's hard to find good bands, Bullshit, there is Mp3.com.au where bands have free material uploaded, there is this website, there's Ob(zine), there's other webzines all over the joint. There is the Drum Media and The Brag, Community radio programs dedicated to Aussie music and a hell of a lot more. Support your Aussie music, buy your Aussie Music go to Aussie gigs with Aussie headliners. Rock and Fucking Roll
